2022 Weddings - Year in Review

Well hello there!

It’s been a minute since I’ve last done one of these. 2 years to be exact. Slacker!

Well, that couldn’t be farther from the truth. You see, the last 2 years have been a blur, really. Since Covid slapped the world in the face, things changed for me and my work in such a way, I can’t even describe it. The most interesting take away from that whole mess was that once people couldn’t go anywhere, they connected with each other and their families more, and all of the sudden, memories and moments became the top priority.

It just so happens that I had these here cameras, a couple of dusty lenses, and some elbow grease piling up in my closet, so I went out and tried to capture as much of it as I could accommodate.

I realized about a year and a half ago that my website was in dire need of an update, as things have changed so much since I created this page and most of the images I had on here were so old, they weren’t really representative of my current work. I swore I would update time and again, but was just too swamped to do it.

Well, that all finally changed this week. I couldn’t be happier with the result.

To kick off the launch of the new look, I thought I would do a new blog entry and share with you the year I had in the wedding world. Boy, was it a doozy. 24 Weddings, 11 different municipalities, over 10,000km traveled, over 7200 wedding photos edited and delivered, 2 near death experiences, a bride that fell in a river, 2 Covid wedding re-do’s, helicopter rides, boat rides, quad rides, 18 AMAZING dinners, and the coolest Cosplay wedding ever - I’d say I need a nap.

Oh, and I took one. For two months.

Now 2023 is here. What will it bring? Adventure. Action. New experiences. New faces. New milestones.
